Taichung OIP
OIP-Taichung (MingDao High School)
Hi all, Ervin here. Since I'm the only one from 3T to go to Taiwan, I have the sole honour of sharing about the trip here. Students who went for OIP Taichung were sec3 and sec4 interactors. 22 students, 2 teachers (Mrs Tay and Mr Daniel Chua). The trip was split into 2 segments, the first being the homestay and the second being our stay in the mountains at a 'resort'. For the first part, we were attached to a buddy. We attended their lessons and slept in their homes. Their classroom size is about the same as ours, but they have 48 students per class.

The 2nd part was fun, but there was one part which I really paid attention to, that was the part when one of the natives taught us how to set traps to catch wild boars (aka MingChan)! We also saw a wild boar stuck in the drain, we crushed a toad (not shengwei) and had fun playing with a dog (not brandon), who kept following us around.
