Since no one else is posting about his OIP trip, I shall post this picture (which I got from my CCA batchmate) to relate our dear ex-monitor's experience =)
You shouldn't find it a surprise if you were in his group, as it was described as "quite a common sight".

OIP-Taichung (MingDao High School)
Hi all, Ervin here. Since I'm the only one from 3T to go to Taiwan, I have the sole honour of sharing about the trip here. Students who went for OIP Taichung were sec3 and sec4 interactors. 22 students, 2 teachers (Mrs Tay and Mr Daniel Chua). The trip was split into 2 segments, the first being the homestay and the second being our stay in the mountains at a 'resort'. For the first part, we were attached to a buddy. We attended their lessons and slept in their homes. Their classroom size is about the same as ours, but they have 48 students per class.

The 2nd part was fun, but there was one part which I really paid attention to, that was the part when one of the natives taught us how to set traps to catch wild boars (aka MingChan)! We also saw a wild boar stuck in the drain, we crushed a toad (not shengwei) and had fun playing with a dog (not brandon), who kept following us around.

Hey everyone! Its been quite some time since the last post...but Im sure we all enjoyed ourselves a lot today! Haha its seldom that we do nothing academic at school and just watch movies and play the whole day...ok well, not really whole...cos we cleaned up our classroom...But still, today has been such a special day for all of us.

The class party has been so successful because we all contributed in some way...like specially preparing food and bringing them, or just preparing drinks and cutlery, or even moving the tables and cleaning the classroom fast so that we can start. =) So yea that was really fun... It sort of wraps up the whole year, what we have gone through as a class together, from just getting to know each other at OBS, to facing the last EOYs...
Somehow... I dont want this year to end so soon.
